Terms of Service

Welcome to Pet Bond Daily. These Terms of Service ("Terms") are the agreement between you and Pet Bond Daily ("we", "us", "our") for your use of the Pet Bond Daily app and website (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. What the Service is

Pet Bond Daily delivers one personalized daily bonding activity for your dog or cat, tailored to their breed, age and personality. The Service also includes features such as streaks, bonding metrics, a yearly Wrapped recap, and sharing. We may add, change or remove features over time.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service, and at least 16 years old if you are in the European Economic Area. By using the Service, you confirm you meet these requirements.

3. Your account

You sign in using Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google. You're responsible for keeping access to your sign-in method secure and for activity that happens under your account. Let us know promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission.

4. Subscriptions & billing

• Plans. Pet Bond Daily offers a Weekly subscription at $3.99 and an Annual subscription at $29.99 (prices may vary by region and currency, and may change over time).
• Free trial. A 3-day free trial may be available to new subscribers. If you don't cancel before the trial ends, it automatically converts to a paid subscription.
• Auto-renewal. Subscriptions are auto-renewing. They renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current trial or billing period. Your store account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
• Billing. Payments are processed and billed by the Apple App Store or Google Play, not by us. We don't receive or store your payment card details.
• Manage or cancel. You can manage or cancel your subscription any time in your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings. Deleting the app alone does not cancel a subscription.
• Refunds. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their respective policies. Please direct refund requests to the store you purchased through.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in a way that harms a pet, a person, or the Service.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the Service.
• Copy, resell or commercially exploit the Service or its content without our permission.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, including its content, design, logos, and the activities we generate, is owned by Pet Bond Daily or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your own non-commercial enjoyment.

7. Your content (pet data)

You keep ownership of the information you add, such as your pet's profile. You grant us a limited license to use this content solely to operate and provide the Service to you, for example, to generate your daily activities and sync your data across devices. You're responsible for the information you provide.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We don't guarantee that activities will suit every pet, that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any particular outcome will result from using it.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pet Bond Daily will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including your statutory rights as a consumer.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania and applicable European Union law. Mandatory consumer-protection rights you have in your country of residence are not affected.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. When we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Apple App Store: Additional Terms

These additional terms apply when you download Pet Bond Daily from the Apple App Store:

• Acknowledgement: These Terms are between you and Pet Bond Daily only, and not with Apple. Pet Bond Daily, not Apple, is solely responsible for the app and its content.
• Scope of License: The license granted to you for the app is a non-transferable license to use the app on any Apple-branded device that you own or control, and only as permitted by the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.
• Maintenance and Support: Pet Bond Daily is solely responsible for providing maintenance and support for the app. Apple has no obligation to furnish any maintenance and support services.
• Warranty: Pet Bond Daily is solely responsible for any product warranties, whether express or implied by law, to the extent not effectively disclaimed. If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any) of the app to you; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to the app.
• Product Claims: Pet Bond Daily, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims by you or a third party relating to the app or your possession and/or use of the app, including (i) product liability claims; (ii) any claim that the app fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement; and (iii) claims arising under consumer protection, privacy, or similar legislation.
• Intellectual Property Rights: In the event of any third-party claim that the app or your use of it infringes that third party's intellectual property rights, Pet Bond Daily, not Apple, will be solely responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement and discharge of any such claim.
• Legal Compliance: You represent and warrant that (i) you are not located in a country that is subject to a U.S. Government embargo or that has been designated by the U.S. Government as a "terrorist supporting" country, and (ii) you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
• Developer Contact: For any questions, complaints or claims regarding the app, contact Pet Bond Daily at support@petbonddaily.com.
• Third-Party Terms: You agree to comply with applicable third-party terms of agreement when using the app.
• Third-Party Beneficiary: You acknowledge and agree that Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms, and that upon your acceptance, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.
